The leadership of the Eastside Church of Christ

Good leadership is crucial for any group or organization's growth and success – this equally applies to the Lord’s church.  Christ is the church's overall head, but God has also seen fit to provide leaders for each congregation.  In Scripture, they are referred to as elders, shepherds, overseers. (Acts 14:23; Titus1:5; 1 Timothy 3:1; 1 Peter 5:1-2; Hebrews 13:17)

Spiritual Shepherds (Elders)

Ron Johnson and Gary Coles are serving as elders. They are always happy to discuss whatever concerns or questions you may have about Eastside's work.  

Evangelist

Gary Coles also serves as the evangelist (preacher) of the Eastside Church of Christ.  He has been with the congregation for six years and is responsible for the bulk of teaching and preaching.  All his sermons are available on the sermon page of our website.
